Well this year was your 3rd christmas!!! This year is when it starts getting real fun! About a week before xmas we took you to toys r us and you saw the toy car, "mack" from your Cars movie. We wanted to buy it for you right then and there but we knew that the right thing to do is buy it behind your back and save it for xmas. You kicked and screamed and we had to drag you out of the store... You were so mad at us for not buying it! Little do you know... If you want something WE WILL PROVIDE IT FOR YOU! Your innocent self has no idea of this yet! Now seeing your face on xmas day was another story. You lit up so ,uch when you opened that gift... that was the best gift your dad and I could have ever experienced.
its funny, because this week has been very stresssful for me... between all the wrapping, shopping, preparing all the food, etc. I was telling your daddy how hard it is to be a mom. And how when I was a kid life and xmas was so fun and easy!!!! Well, being a mom is VERY hard and tiring but it is even better seeing life through your eyes! You are my EVERYTHING and youmake any hard work worth it!

When you get in trouble!!!
So... when you get in trouble, I scold you then you get your pouty lip, cry, and usually put your self in a corner for a few seconds.... After just a few seconds I go and get you and tell you what you did was bad BUT that I love you sooo much. I then say can Momma have a kiss now.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY!!!!
Timothy,
First of all Happy 2nd Birthday! I seriously can NOT believe you are 2!Time has just flown by! I think back 2 years ago.....
The day before your birthday, I went into labor around 10pm. I stayed up all night with horrible contractions. Pacing the house, walking, and hurting! it was pretty intense pain! By about 5 am I could not take the pain and I was tired! We packed our bags, I took a shower, said a few prayers, and got ready to leave for the hospital! No matter how much people try to prepare you for having a baby NOTHING can prepare you! I HAD NO IDEA how much my life would change!
So long story short.. I labored all day and finally around 7pm started to push you out... You got stuck and at 1033pm you were born by emergency C-section :( I was upset that you were born by a c-section. I felt that my first duty as a mother ( to give birth to you) I had already failed at! I was so disappointed in myself even though there was nothing I could do.... Its weird I loved you and cared about you that much already that I wanted you to be born the most perfect way! After a long night of me being in the recovery room and you being sent to the NICU for having a fever, tachycardia, and some meconium in your airway, I got to hold you. Oh,man! that moment was pure love! I was sooo nervous, I cried my eyes out holding you for the first time! You were so perfect in every way! Then I got to feed you right then and there! That was so wonderful for me to give myself to you and feed you. When they say LOVE at first sight it is really true when looking and holding your first born!
So on your 2nd birthday, I celebrate my love for you and your life! This is what you have been up to.....
Wear 3T clothes
Nap once a day but you fight to go down!
Sleep good 12 hours but you have to say goodnight to all your toys first!
Love your snacky foods, and also spagetti, pastas, cereal, oatmeal, eggs with cheese, yogurts, fruit!
Playing with such imagination.. love your cars, trucks, boats, airplanes. You also like little people farm animals, and books.
You really like songs and music. Your favorite is.. the wheels on the bus ( you call it beep, beep) or old mcdonald (you call it moo, moo)
You talk soooo much now! Commom things you say. ... eat mas papa, mas show momma, mas moo moo, please momma, thank you momma, you say dadda, momma, riri, bindi, nienie, park, truck, snack, apple, slide, airplane, boat, juice, doggie, basically you can repeat EVERYTHING we say. You say bye, bye to everyone and everything. I feel like this past month has made your talking take off! You are so social and I love it!
Everyone says you are so well behaved! Especially at restaurants, you sit so well and just play with your toys in your high chair!
You love going to the park, jumpstreet, out to eat, nanas, grandmas, really anywhere! You love being out and about!
You love taking a shower with your daddy and play in the shower with your trucks.
I feel like you are now such a boy instead of a baby. It makes me sad but also so proud of you.
Timothy, as you turn TWO a few promises to you....
1. Your daddy and I will always love you and each other! We will always be together!
2. We promise to work hard for you and provide everything you NEED not want!
3. We will not be your friends. You will have plenty of friends! We will be your parents! We will have rules and make sure you follow those rules. You will only have 1 mom and dad!
4. We will pray for your every day.

Mexico over thanksgiving
So we decided to go to mexico over thanksgiving!!! You loved the trip!
It is so fun seeing you there. You loved riding all the quads and rangers. You also ate the mexican food like crazy!! Haha. The cutest thing was that we all slept in the same room and we figured out that you sleep talk!!! You kept asking for your cars movie! " mas show please momma" Your daddy and I just laughed and talked for hours about how much we love you and how cute you are!!!

We had the largest jumper that you had so much fun with!! We also had a huge race car pinata that your grandma and grandpa brought you back from mexico!
Again, it was bitter sweet day for me! I love you so much and am so proud to see you grow in to such a BIG BOY. You are getting to be such a fun kid! But also I miss my baby:( I love you so much I just do not want these days to end!

23 Months
Timothy Michael Sands.... You are 23 months today!
Wow! Where has time gone... it seems like just yesterday you were born! You continue to amaze me. You are such a loving, smart, funny, outgoing, social, BOY. Your personality makes everyone smile. You are the light in our lives! I thiank God all day long for letting us have you! I am so lucky to be your mother! I say it all the time, but you truly have made my dreams come true by being my first born and letting me be a mommy! When I kiss you, I can not get enough, when we hug it feels sooo right! When I hold you and pick you up it makes me feel so happy to love all over you!
What are you up to these days...
You wear 2T but it is getting very tight! Stuff I am buying is 3T.
You sleep from 8 ish at night till 8 ish in the morning.
You take one nap a day in the afternoon from 2-3 hours long!
You love your "snacks" and you ask for them all the time! I have to often refuse yur snacks so that you will eat your meals. You still eat pretty good but are getting pickier! You definately love your fruit still!
You have such an imagination and love to play! you could play all day long! your favorites are still your trucks and cars. Also you are really into the park now! you love the park and love going down the slides. Of course you always pick the biggest slide to go down.
You are talking SOOOOO much! it is fun but you definately have an opinion now! You favorite thing is saying NO to everything! BUt you talk so much... you say, airplane, you call all fruit apples, truck, car, cheese, milk, cat, dog, nana, tata, momma, dadda (mike), you are still calling daddy mike!, drink, snack, slide, Riri, Bimbi, thank you, please, mark, andrew, more, pretty much anything we say ... you will repeat!!!
You are so polite and always say please and thank you.
You are soo busy and active I just love how social and fun you are.

Sick Baby
So when we got home from vegas you came down with Croup... It has been hard seeing you sick. Your daddy and I wish we could take every pain and discomfort from you. The only good thing about you being sick is you let me hold you! I mean really hold you! I get to rock you in my arms. I get to stare at you and kiss you all day. I get to hold you and you fall asleep in my arms, or laying on my chest! That is the best feeling. I want to keep you safe. I want to hold you in my arms forever!
Las Vegas
So we just got back from Las Vegas this last weekend and you were the sweetest little boy. We went to the shooting water show at the Belagio. Usually, I love to watch the water show.... This time I loved just watching you. ..
Never in a million years did I think that watching something through your child's eyes could be a million times better than watching it yourself!

You go to sleep every night around 8-8:30 and wake up anywhere from 7-9 am. You take one long afternoon nap!
You are starting to get a little picky with food... you definately love your snacks! You love, applesauce, mandarin oranges, fruit, cereal bars, macaroni and cheese, cheese quesadillas, and most veggies. You love your milk and also really like your juice. you also love capri suns! You only get them at birthday parties!
You still love your cars! You sit on everything and pretend its a car. You play very well. You love your books that have trucks in them!

It is so funny because I try to do a class room lesson atleast once a day. We have been focusing on letters! You repeat everything when I say it! You say A B C. You also say apple, airplane, book, baby, bear. Cat, cake. You love to say shoes and put them on and off!
Timothy, just when I think it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to love you anymore, the sun rises and another day comes and I love you a MILLION times more!

Well, on September 7th, I told your daddy that I was pregnant with your little brother or sister! I put this shirt on you and waited for daddy to notice... Well, it took him awhile to notice , so I finally said, "Look and read timmy's shirt!" We were so excited and of course cried! Its hard to believe that another one for us to love and grow with will be here in May.

So Smart
So your latest smart thing you do....
When you are hungry you go to the cabinet where we keep the snacks then you run over to where we keep the spoons! You cant even see in that drawer but you feel around with your hands until you reach "your baby" spoons!!
At the grocery store you like your daddy to push the cart instead of me! So you peel my fingers off the cart and point at daddy. Daddy then puts his hands on the cart and you then place you hands in your lap! It is so funny!

21 Months
Timothy you are 21 months ( a couple days late)
You are in size 8 shoes
You are wearing size 2T-3T clothes
You are napping once day, usually in the afternoon for a couple hours. You go to bed at 8 and wake up around 7 - 9 am! You are such a good sleeper.
You are still loving fruit and veggies! You also are loving your snacks. I have to limit your snacks or else you will not eat your meals!
You have all your teeth except the back molars. You love brushing your teeth!
Your favorite toys are cars and trucks! You are crazy with them and drive them all over the house! You also like your book that is filled with pictures of trucks.
You are such a busy and active toddler but you are also so well behaved. We can take you out to eat anywhere and you sit through the whole meal in the high chair without fussing!
You are speaking so many words... here are some, Riri, papa, book, bye, bye, sit, hot, momma, dada, tata, and you do your sign language to say please, more, milk, food!
We just got bcak another vacation to san diego... again, words cant explain how well of a traveler you are. You were so amazing, You are so laid back, easy going , and well behaved! Everyone says traveling with a toddler is horrible, with you its fun and easy! You sleep in your pack n play right next to our bed on vacation. You wake early but you play in the crib while daddy and i rest a little longer.
The latest thing with you is that this past month you got really sick for the first time!It was horrible. You had the hand, foot, and mouth virus which caused blisters all over your mouth and throat. You did not sleep or eat for almost one week. You would just cry, fuss, and lay on the couch. It hurt me real bad. i cant tell you how many tears I shed. I prayed and wished your sickness on me instead. I never understood that pain. Its like it hurts me more than you. Please stay healthy for us!

Movie
So we took you to the movies the other day for the first time... We saw Toy Story 3! You did so awesome and impressed us yet again! I think it helped that we bought you popcorn and put alot of butter on it! haha! anyway, half way through the movie you got a little restless so daddy and i let you walk in the isle then daddy just picked you up and held you tight and the movie caught your attention again! You watched the rest of the movie in your daddys lap. He loved every second of it!

The Lake
So we took you to the lake today! Haha. For being a busy toddler, you are amazing! Each day that passes you seem to make us so proud. You were so cute in th eboat and in the water. You definately wanted to drive the boat and also used your"TSSSS" sound when the engine turned on. You watched us all make fools of ourselves while Daddy and Uncle Mark and I tried to ski! We stayed out there until after sunset and as we drove back into the harbor i held you at the top of the boat! I held you so tight! I thanked God for the beauty of the lake and the beauty of you! Your Daddy and I say all the time..." wow, he is SUCH a great little boy!" Thank you for being the best child ever! You make parentig such a joy!

20 Months
20 Months
Timothy you are 20 months already!!! What are you up to these days....
You were fitted for new shoes this week and one foot is a 7.5 one is a 7 so i bought an 8!
You are wearing size 2T clothes.
Not quite sure how much you are weighing!
You hair is filling in and mommy cuts it herself here and there.
You still love to eat, however are getting a little picky. We have to feed you your food before fruit or else all you would eat is fruit all day... You love your snacks... I like to give you lil baggies of cereal with raisins and cranberries!
You know the shelf that the snacks are kept and you pull them out all the time!
You are learning a little bit of spanish and sign language. You sign the signs for more, please, eat, milk, drink, please and thank you.
This week your vocabulary has taken off.... It is amazing, words you say are... momma, dadda, papa, wow, uh oh, riri, hot, sit, and you understand sooo much. when we tell you things you know what we are saying! it is so sweet to see your mind working!
You are down to one nap a day. Usually around 12- 2pm. You will sleep for about 2-3 hours. You go to bed around 8pm and sleep till 8 am or sometimes 9 am. You love your sleep.
You love bath time!
Toys- You are still completely into cars and trucks... You say "tsssss" everytime you see a truck. you love the fire trucks and daddys work. You sit on EVERYTHING and pretend you can drive it! At restaurants we bring cars for you to play with. Lately, you have been really into books. Your favorite... A book about trucks! haha!
Daddy, sits with you and tells me having you and your sweet little voice next to him is the best feeling in the world.... I agree! I love seeing your Daddy love on you. It makes me cry! Cry because the two BOYS I love more than anything are such amazing people. I love your Daddy a million times more since you came into our lives! Your daddy and I are hopefully going to be able to add to our family soon!!!!

4/13/ started really grabbing things. Grabbing trying to pull himself up. Compltetely reaching and grabbing. Really laughs loud. Screams and laughs when he sees you. Really recognizes mom and dad.
5/21 in mexico.. rolls around back to front… front to back.
5/23 I love laying in bed with him.. he touches me face and oohhs and ahhss at me,
6/7 timmy reaching for everything. Soooo curious..his eyes are looking at every little sound. He is sooo cute right now… he loves to eat… he goes crazy and started putting the spoon in his mouth himself.
6/15 starting crawling !! the scoot and crawl. He went straight for the dog bowl…
7/4 he is really starting sitting up on his own. He also is completely starting to crawl. He breathes like a little puppy dog. So cute. Mike and I went in his room and he was pulling himself up standing over the rail in the crib!
7/5 he tries to kiss with his mouth wide open!!! So funny.
7/12 today I turned around and looked at baby he had pulled himself up and was standing up! He kept pulling himself up on this stand up toy and falling over still holding on to that stand up toy!! He is pulling himself up on all the furniture.
7/14 getting his top tooth. I feel it .. it is sharp. He loves his swim lessons. He loves to float around!
7/21 the day before we leave for Colorado.. you now have a tooth on top! You are biting me every chance you get. Even while I nurse you.. you scream and squeal in the morning and after nap time whole standing in your crib. Daddy and I both put you to bed every time stand over you and thank god sooo much for giving us you!
8/2 took you to a party last night.. you started crying when you saw all the strangers plus you had just woken up from your nap… there were a couple boys playing in the yard.. they were about 4 to 5 years old. They were jumping on this toy that launched this arrow thing in the air. All of a sudden I could hear you going hysterical. It sounded like you were screaming and crying. I looked at you and you were going hysterical laughing at those boys… it was the funniest thing… it was you just watching them laughing and going crazy… you are soo aware of what is going on.. words cant even express my love for you!
8/10 2nd front to tooth.. standing and hanging on with one hand!!!!!!!!!
8/29 I love when I am done feeding you you do a long stretch and look at me and smile…. When I go check and you and see if you are napping and you are not… he screams of excitement…. I love you and your eyes and you smile!

9/23 tooth count 2 on bottom with one little guy coming in on the right side of the bottom… and 3 on top with one coming in on the right upper… so cute and sweet. I am afraid you will loose the sweet smell of your breath.. I cant get enough of it… it smells like sweet milk!
9/26 so now I am only feeding you 2-3 times a day… as gross and crazy as this sounds to you… I LOVE feeding you. There is nothing better than starring at your face and listening to yoru sweet sounds while I feed you. It is the best feeling in the world to know that I can nurture you and give you what you need. I am sad that this time is coming to an end…. But I know this is just the beginning to you becoming an independent human being.. also the beginning of me learing to let go and learing to watch you grow and do thing independently.. I love you more than any other feeling I can express… I pray and thank god every night for letting me experience being your mother.
10/2/09 today we tried on your Halloween costume.. you are going to be a pumpkin… you hated it. You were screaming and crying hysterically and your daddy and I could not help but laugh and take your pic… you threw a fit! Today I was feeding you just at night before you went to bed and you fell asleep nursing.. that is why I hate to stop feeding you.. you are sooo innocent!

• You sleep from 10-13 hours a night
• You take 2-3 naps a day
• You love love to eat! Love your veggies… green beans you like the least. Also love your fruits bananas and mangos the best! Just about done with breast feeding.. doing it once at night.. I miss it.it is our time.. you touch my face and stare at me when you feed. I rub your head and look into your beautiful brown eyes.

Today daddy and I were driving to costco and we could hear you laughing in the back seat… the windows were all down and we were enjoying the beautiful weather. We looked back at you and you had your head almost all the way out of the car starring at the girl in the car next to us… you had her laughing soo hard!!! You make everyones day.

So last night your daddy and I decided to spend new years eve at home. Never thought we would prefer to be home then out and about!!! At midnight to ring the year in we went into your room! There we wished you happy new year. Of course you were peacefully sleeping but it was the only thing I wanted to be doing at that moment in time.. ringing in the new year with your daddy holding me while we starred at you! I love you!

Your daddy took you to a spring training game. Your first one. He was so happt to spend the day with you. He bought you a baseball hat too. You love wearing it. I was at work while you guys went. Daddy said he wanted to just spend a fun day with HIS SON! I want you to know that your daddy is amazing! He talks about you all the time and is so in love with you. When you were born, I fell even harder in love with your dad. I think you are going to be a great husband and father just like him!

Took you to story time and for the first time you actually GOT IT!!! You started clapping and singing the songs and sat there and really enjoyed yourself.. of course you tried to eat the apples from another mom but hey you just love to eat!

We took you on your first flight to Washington dc this week… I never knew you could be so proud of a baby. But you made me proud. You were such a good baby. Each day we went sight seeing all day long and you would take a short nap in the stroller when you needed it. You ate soo good. You even behaved while me and daddy ate at a fancy restaurant! We had steak and crab. You had pizza. You were the only baby in there! You made me proud today and this week. You are already a world traveler…. By the way , one dream of mine for you is that you will travel this beautiful world that the Lord has given us . I love to travel . it makes me feel at peace. I hope the same for you! Maybe we could even travel together forever!

Today was my 30th birthday. Daddy brought you in to the bedroom because I was still sleeping. You crawled all over me and it reminded me of how much you have grown. When u were little daddy used to do the same thing and I would feeed you in bed. Then you would fall asleep and we aould sleep together till about 10. I savor those memories in my head. AHHH. I love you more than I can explain. I pray to the Lord above that you know how much first HE loves you and also your daddy and I.

Daddy took us to Plam springs for my bday! Again, you amazed us! We ate at another fancy steak house. You were so good and behaved. This lady walked up to us and said she could never eat at a place like this with her kids! Everyone told us how great you were! Of course our bed and breakfast was amazing and there was a huge bathroom. So that is where you slept. WE shut the door and it was like your own little room! Haha Everyone says we should leave you at home so that daddy and I can have a nice vacation BUT having you with us is a nice vacation! You are no problem! You are so easy going! And you are part of us! You are a sands! Our family! We stick together!

Tonight I went out to dinner with some friends. When I got home you heard me come in. you were already asleep in your crib and I think you must have heard me come in and did not want to go back to sleep. So you cried. And of course you NEVER cry when we put you to sleep so I went in there to say goodnight and to see why you were crying. You stopped the second I picked you up. I held you loved all over you and put you back down. When I walked out of the room you CRIED I mean SCREAMED again. So I went back in picked you up and it stopped. Put you back down and you SCREAMED. This time I went in picked you up , held you, told you how much I loved you, and just rocked you in my arms to sleep. I starred at you, thought about how lucky I am to be your mother, thanked God a million times for giving me you. It reminded me of that book…. I will love you forever, I will like you for always, as long as I am living my baby you will be! I did not mind one bit holding you in my arms while I comforted you to sleep. My thoughts are that I will give you this journal one day. I am not sure when, maybe when you graduate from high school, maybe college, maybe when you get married, or maybe when you have your own sweet baby one day. But whenever I want you to know.. day or night I am here to be with you or to rock you, or hold you or to comfort you! My first born… my dear son!

Today when we were at swim lesson they sing a bye song to each kid. You got really into singing “Dye, dye”! you are so funny at swim lessons. You are getting all your skills down but you are a lil sleepy since they start at 840 and you normally don’t wake up till 9! Ha!we also went to wet n wild today with mommys friends Monique and shawn and noah. We had a blast you would wrap your lil legs around me so tight when you were scared of the water. It made me feel like I was truly taking care of you. I will protect you forever! My first born. We share soo many special first time memories! Also your new obsession.. YOUR HAT!!! You want to wear your baseball hat all day long!

Today we are going on our first vacation well second ( remember we went to vegas when you were just over one year old) together. Just me and you and of course the Quezada side of our family. Daddy has to work As crazy as it sounds I am looking forward to having you all to myself! You are my lefe.. You are the ONE who made my dreams come true and made me a mommy! You were so funny on vacation. You are such a great traveler! Easy going just like me! At night I set up for little crib next to my bed. You would lay there and stare at me and make sure I layed there too. The second I would get up .. you would scream!!! I took it as you were trying to tell me you wanted your mommy right there next to you! I love you son! We went to sea world and the zoo. You definitely liked it better this year than last! The shows you would sit there and watch! You would point at the animals! Your eyes are so beautiful! Seeing you look at the world makes me so happy!

Today we had to pretend for jenni to leave to put you to sleep. How funny. Everytime we tried o put you to sleep you would scream and point to her! So we did a fake leaving.. of course you went to bed immediately then we shushed jen back inside. You love her so much and she loves you. She is so crazy about you! I ask her all the time if she loves you as much as I do…. And she laughs and says OF COURSE!

I know you are 19 months but today was heart breaking for me… I took you to the gym day care for the first time. Of course it was only for 30 minutes and every second of that 30 minutes I was thinking of you! You cried at first wanted out but after a few minutes I went and checked on you and you were playing and happy! I hate being without you even if it is only for 30 minutes!

Tonight was a rough night. .. You woke up and creid! And I rocked you in the rocking chair held you in my arms as if you were a new born again! You obviously did not feel good. So daddy and I got our blankets and set up to camp out next to your crib! I rocked you and held you in my arms until you fell asleep. Daddy layed on the floor and fell asleep. The sweet sound of my husband fast asleep at my feet and my baby in my arms fast asleep. AHH I could listen to that heavenly music all night long. I cherished every second… at 4 am we finally put you down and snuck out of your room. We were tired.. we were exhausted! Would I change it that night??? NOT for one second! I loved comforting you… making suyre you were safe! Day or night I am here!

6/15 starting crawling !! the scoot and crawl. He went straight for the dog bowl…
7/4 he is really starting sitting up on his own. He also is completely starting to crawl. He breathes like a little puppy dog. So cute. Mike and I went in his room and he was pulling himself up standing over the rail in the crib!
7/5 he tries to kiss with his mouth wide open!!! So funny.
7/12 today I turned around and looked at baby he had pulled himself up and was standing up! He kept pulling himself up on this stand up toy and falling over still holding on to that stand up toy!! He is pulling himself up on all the furniture.
7/14 getting his top tooth. I feel it .. it is sharp. He loves his swim lessons. He loves to float around!
7/21 the day before we leave for Colorado.. you now have a tooth on top! You are biting me every chance you get. Even while I nurse you.. you scream and squeal in the morning and after nap time whole standing in your crib. Daddy and I both put you to bed every time stand over you and thank god sooo much for giving us you!
8/2 took you to a party last night.. you started crying when you saw all the strangers plus you had just woken up from your nap… there were a couple boys playing in the yard.. they were about 4 to 5 years old. They were jumping on this toy that launched this arrow thing in the air. All of a sudden I could hear you going hysterical. It sounded like you were screaming and crying. I looked at you and you were going hysterical laughing at those boys… it was the funniest thing… it was you just watching them laughing and going crazy… you are soo aware of what is going on.. words cant even express my love for you!

Today when we were at swim lesson they sing a bye song to each kid. You got really into singing “Dye, dye”! you are so funny at swim lessons. You are getting all your skills down but you are a lil sleepy since they start at 840 and you normally don’t wake up till 9! Ha!we also went to wet n wild today with mommys friends Monique and shawn and noah. We had a blast you would wrap your lil legs around me so tight when you were scared of the water. It made me feel like I was truly taking care of you. I will protect you forever! My first born. We share soo many special first time memories! Also your new obsession.. YOUR HAT!!! You want to wear your baseball hat all day long!

Today we are going on our first vacation well second ( remember we went to vegas when you were just over one year old) together. Just me and you and of course the Quezada side of our family. Daddy has to work As crazy as it sounds I am looking forward to having you all to myself! You are my lefe.. You are the ONE who made my dreams come true and made me a mommy! I love our days and nights together!

You were so funny on vacation. You are such a great traveler! Easy going just like me! At night I set up for little crib next to my bed. You would lay there and stare at me and make sure I layed there too. The second I would get up .. you would scream!!! I took it as you were trying to tell me you wanted your mommy right there next to you! I love you son! We went to sea world and the zoo. You definitely liked it better this year than last! The shows you would sit there and watch! You would point at the animals! Your eyes are so beautiful! Seeing you look at the world makes me so happy!

Favorite toys: cars, trucks!!! Anything you can pull apart! Climbing is the latest~ you like to climb on everything,
You are really starting to like the water! You point and clap when we drive up to water world! You are in swim survival school and are doing really well. You go under water and hold on to the side of the water and kick really good.
You love snack time! You still love milk! You love fruit! You are getting a lil picky with your foods but for the most part you are a excellent eater.
You love brushing your teeth and bath time.
You get so many bumps and bruises because you are so active!
Sometimes out of the middle of no where you look at us and just kiss us!
Your face lights up when you see grandparents and jenni!
You love the little songs we sing to you!
Your daddy loves you more than life! He stares at you and just tells me all the time how proud he is of you and how much he loves you. I love hearing him talk about you. It makes my day! Having you has made me love your daddy even more because I have got to see the “father “ I always knew he would be. Just being his son.. you have got it made!

Today we had to pretend for jenni to leave to put you to sleep. How funny. Everytime we tried o put you to sleep you would scream and point to her! So we did a fake leaving.. of course you went to bed immediately then we shushed jen back inside. You love her so much and she loves you. She is so crazy about you! I ask her all the time if she loves you as much as I do…. And she laughs and says OF COURSE!

I know you are 19 months but today was heart breaking for me… I took you to the gym day care for the first time. Of course it was only for 30 minutes and every second of that 30 minutes I was thinking of you! You cried at first wanted out but after a few minutes I went and checked on you and you were playing and happy! I hate being without you even if it is only for 30 minutes!

Tonight was a rough night. .. You woke up and creid! And I rocked you in the rocking chair held you in my arms as if you were a new born again! You obviously did not feel good. So daddy and I got our blankets and set up to camp out next to your crib! I rocked you and held you in my arms until you fell asleep. Daddy layed on the floor and fell asleep. The sweet sound of my husband fast asleep at my feet and my baby in my arms fast asleep. AHH I could listen to that heavenly music all night long. I cherished every second… at 4 am we finally put you down and snuck out of your room. We were tired.. we were exhausted! Would I change it that night??? NOT for one second! I loved comforting you… making suyre you were safe! Day or night I am here!

My son, I have been praying that God will give us a baby brother or sister for you!!! Hopefully our prayers will be answered soon! Your eyes.. your eyes! They are brown but almost honey colored! I see your soul! You are so beautiful!
4/13/ started really grabbing things. Grabbing trying to pull himself up. Compltetely reaching and grabbing. Really laughs loud. Screams and laughs when he sees you. Really recognizes mom and dad.
5/21 in mexico.. rolls around back to front… front to back.
5/23 I love laying in bed with him.. he touches me face and oohhs and ahhss at me,
6/7 timmy reaching for everything. Soooo curious..his eyes are looking at every little sound. He is sooo cute right now… he loves to eat… he goes crazy and started putting the spoon in his mouth himself.
6/15 starting crawling !! the scoot and crawl. He went straight for the dog bowl…
7/4 he is really starting sitting up on his own. He also is completely starting to crawl. He breathes like a little puppy dog. So cute. Mike and I went in his room and he was pulling himself up standing over the rail in the crib!
7/5 he tries to kiss with his mouth wide open!!! So funny.
7/12 today I turned around and looked at baby he had pulled himself up and was standing up! He kept pulling himself up on this stand up toy and falling over still holding on to that stand up toy!! He is pulling himself up on all the furniture.
7/14 getting his top tooth. I feel it .. it is sharp. He loves his swim lessons. He loves to float around!
7/21 the day before we leave for Colorado.. you now have a tooth on top! You are biting me every chance you get. Even while I nurse you.. you scream and squeal in the morning and after nap time whole standing in your crib. Daddy and I both put you to bed every time stand over you and thank god sooo much for giving us you!
8/2 took you to a party last night.. you started crying when you saw all the strangers plus you had just woken up from your nap… there were a couple boys playing in the yard.. they were about 4 to 5 years old. They were jumping on this toy that launched this arrow thing in the air. All of a sudden I could hear you going hysterical. It sounded like you were screaming and crying. I looked at you and you were going hysterical laughing at those boys… it was the funniest thing… it was you just watching them laughing and going crazy… you are soo aware of what is going on.. words cant even express my love for you!
