My son, this year you are getting exactly what you asked for!!! haha. There in NOTHING like giving you what you ask for! This is so much better than any gift anybody has given me. Seeing your joy and happiness. Seeing the holidays through your eyes!

4 YEARS

TIMOTHY MICHAEL YOU ARE 4 YEARS OLD!!!!

I can not believe you are 4 years old. I can not believe that 4 years ago at the time I am typing this I was in labor.. getting ready for you to come out! It is 938pm right now and 4 years ago at this time I seriously felt like I as going to die! But at 1033pm you made EVERY single dream of mine come true!!! 

YOU made me a mommy! YOU changed my life! YOU made daddy a dad! YOU made us the happiest we have ever been! YOU are our everything!!!

You say the funniest things!!! So smart and clever

You go to bed at around 9 pm and wake every morning super early and crawl into bed with me and daddy until about 7 am.

You still nap! Usually around 1 until 3 ish!

You love all your activities. The most recent ones you enjoy are gymnastics, your cooking class, spanish class and tutor, and any sports!

You are so social and really enjoy stroller strides and being with your friends!

You LOVE to play. You LOVE toys! Your favorites are still trucks, super heroes, any little people houses or sets. You have such an imagination! I love hearing you play. 

You love to be read to! You can listen to book after book! 

You still love your Mr. Teddy and love sucking your thumb!

Your friends are Raegan, Lila, Baby Andrew, Kaylee, Jonathan! 

You love your daddy and do everything that he does.

You still wet the bed and are still in pull ups at night.

You, my son, have really taken off on your vocabulary!!! I can talk to you like an adult. You ask the most interesting questions. You really want to learn! 

I tell you every day, but I am so obsessed with you. I am so in love with you that I am a crazy woman. I hope you always know that I am your number one fan!!!

Kaylee

You and your sister....

Sometimes you two play so well together.. the next minute you two are hitting and screaming at each other! i do love when you two are nice. It just makes my heart so happy! 

I love in the mornings when you two are both in a good mood and you beg her to go play with you in the room or play outside!

You even have come up with nick names for her. You love to call her Baby Cakes! I love that. The other day you told me that you dont want her name to be Kaylee Monee! You wanted it to be Kaylee Marshmallow!!!

I also love when you just hug her or kiss her out of the blue! Or when you take her hand!!!

Too much sugar

You love snacks and especially sugary ones! You especially love cookies, fruit snacks and candy! You are so like your daddy. So I have been telling you when you try to eat a million sweets that NO you cant eat more because thats too much sugar and too much sugar is bad for your teeth! Also every night after we brush your teeth you ask for fruit snacks and I say no you can tomorrow after lunch and you say because they have too much sugar? And I say yes!

So the other night me and you were laying in bed and you asked Mommy can we watch a Handy Manny before bed?! I said NO baby its bedtime! Then you said.. But WHY! Does handy manny have way too much sugar??!!!

AHHHH. I just cant get enough of you!!! I am seriously obsessed and so in love with you!

Clouds

The other day you saw all the clouds in the sky... You are so extremely smart. You said mommy I see an alligator in the sky! I just love your innocent and creative mind!

When I grow up

You have been talking a lot about when you grow up or when you grow bigger. You ask to do things and sometimes I say no you are not old enough to do that. 

So lately after I tell you that you tell me... Ok mommy when I grew up to be a mommy then I can do that!!

Gun

You have an obsession with guns! You LOVE guns. We tried to keep you away from them as long as possible but then daddy gave in and bought you one. You want to keep it in the safe where daddy keeps his! its really sweet.

And when you dont have your actual play gun.. you walk around the house and do this thing with your fingers like you are firing off a gun! You even make the sound... "phoo!!" 

My hat doesn't have eyes

The other day you were throwing your hat around so I put it up by the bed and before you went to bed I told you to be nice to your stuff.. Then you said.. NO I dont have to so my hat does not have eyes!!!

You are too smart!

Fire Siren and daddy's boots

Every time you hear a fire siren no matter where we are you stop what you are doing and say... MOMMY.. I think I hear my daddy!!!

You pretend that our backyard is your work. You drive your cars around making the fire sound. You get dressed every day in either a fire shirt or AC shirt. Then you put on your work boots and make the funniest sound like you are lacing up your boots. You get your fingers all crazy and go... ch,ch chut. 

You are sooo obsessed with your daddy.. I love it! You have such and awesome role model. He is the most generous, hard working man I know. He is so smart and a gentleman. He lives his life for me and you kids! He treats me with so much respect and always has. We are so in love! I pray you are the same man for your future wife and kids... but I know you will be! I love you and admire you my son!!!

It makes my heart mad!

So I always tell you that when you hug and kiss me or tell me you love me that it makes my heart happy!!!

So today Kaylee took your chocolate milk and drank it all. You cried and got mad and were mumbling things under your breath. When I asked what was wrong you said... Mommy when Baby K takes my chocolate milk it makes my heart very, very, mad!

I love you my dear son

Snug, comfy and warm

I love when i took you in for a nap... You always want to be snug as a bug!!! After I make you snug as a bug I always ask if you are ok.. Lately you have been saying.. Yes mommy!!! I am comfy and warm!!!

HAHA.. I just can NOT get enough of you! This age is by far sooo hilarious! You say the funniest things. You also make my day! 

YOU ARE SWIMMING

Well, at 3 and a half you are officially swimming! I can not believe how well you have done! You are absolutely amazing...

It is so hard being a mother... The first few lessons at swim my heart ached to see you struggle in trying to learn... BUT my son you are so smart and confidant! You learned in no time! I love that you are willing to try. 

Now you are a fish. You love the water and ask to go swim every day! You can jump in the deep end and swim to the wall. You love to pretend that you are doing swim lessons when we are at the house. You even pretend to be the teacher! 

just making sure mommy is prepared..

You are sooo funny!!! Every time we go out of town.. when we are almost to our destination you quietly say... " mommy.. are we almost there?! You brought all my clothes, right?!" 

I just love that you think ahead and make sure mommy remembered you... I just love you and everything about you!

Breast feed baby k

The other night me and you were laying in bed and out of the blue you said .... mommy I want you to breast feed baby K! Well, it has been a couple weeks since I stopped breast feeding your sister so I was a little surprised that you said that! 


The next day, you were talking about breast feeding all day long! You were also carrying your Curious George around. Then I asked you what happens when your baby cries.... You said..... I breast feed her! I pull this( as you were stretching out your nipple) And I just keep pulling this and my baby eats!!!


You my son are sooo funny!

I think you use the word "SO" instead of "because". 


I love it and refuse to correct you. Its precious and I am obsessed with hearing it... It makes my day. 


mommy: where do you want to sleep tonight?
tt: I want to sleep in you bed SO daddy is at work. 


m: Do you want to go to swim lessons?
tt: No, SO I don't have gobbles! ( goggles)


m: Do you want to go to stroller strides?
tt: yes, SO so I want to play with my friends at stroller strides!


I am obsessed with you MY SON!!!

3 and a half!

My dear son... I can not believe that you are now 3 and a half years old!!! You are at such a fun age! I absolutely love being around you! You say the funniest things and it just amazes what you come up with. You are independent but still need mommy. You make me laugh and smile every second of my life....I want you to know that I am absolutely crazy in love with you! You make every day amazing and you are my dream come true! How did I get so lucky?!!


Here is what you have been up to...


You weigh about 38-39 pounds.


Shoe size is 11 wide. 


You wear size 4 and 5T.


You go to bed about 9 pm and wake up around 7 or 8 am. 


You still take one nap a day. Usually around 1 or 2pm. And you will nap 2 hours!


You talk so much and have full on conversations with everyone! When you play you talk to yourself and with your toys. I could listen to you all day long!


Your favorite toys are your outdoor ride along trucks, your playhouse, any cars and trucks, airplanes, and your little people that you put in your trucks. 


You love to pretend you are going to work just like daddy!


You love to go to play time... Your favorite places are jump street, the park, the museum, imagination avenue, playgrounds fun zone, stroller strides, and mcdonalds or burger king. 


Your favorite friends are jonathan, raegan, lila, connor, tanner, and luke. 


Your favorite foods are macaroni ( guacamole), pizza, hot dogs, soup, fruit, cereal. But, you will eat anything I make. You love your snack foods also!


You love to sleep with mommy and daddy!


You love curious george!


You fight a lot with your sister and have some jealousy issues but we are working on that!!!

Ed's house

You have your play house outside against the side wall. Every morning and evening you love to go out back and play. Well, each day I catch you climbing onto the roof of your play house. When I ask you what you are doing, you say you are fixing the refer/air conditioner. You also spy on Ed. You stand up there and watch him work and then try to talk to him. I love your curiosity and spunk. 

Whats the big idea!!!

When you get excited or want to express something you always say... HEY whats the big idea!!! You get it from Donald Duck! thats what he says on Mickey Mouse.. So we had Kaylee's birthday party the other day and after she ate her cake daddy started smearing some cake on my face and so I did some on his.. You got so excited and screamed out... HEY whats the big idea!! You also say it in a deep voice! You are sooo funny and we spend every day waiting to hear what you will say next! 

Why

You newest favorite word...WHY! haha. You ask Why to everything. Most people get annoyed when their kids ask why to everything. I think it is so funny and cute. I love you...


You also say Favorite a lot! When i ask you something you say oh, thats my favorite! And when you eat something you like, you say... yum that was my favorite!


You are so precious.... I love you more than I can even express.

Playing with your sister

So you are know finally getting to a point where you are actually playing with your sister! It just makes my heart so happy! You two play best in the mornings! You both eat breakfast then you two go in to the living room. You have a fort set up in there and you bring your toys in there too! I hear you both talking and laughing! I usually clean the kitchen in the mornings but most of the time I stand behind that wall and listen to your sweet voices. I am so in love with my kids!

When daddy is at work...

When daddy is at work me and you have our time!!! Our latest is you now sleep in bed with me the whole night! I love it so much. I love knowing you are right there. I love snuggling with you. I love watching you sleep. I love hearing you suck your thumb through out the night! I love hearing you sleep talk! I love seeing your face first thing in the morning! 


BUT, you also know that as soon as daddy come home you have to sleep in your own bed! I guess its our little secret! I love you sooo much, my son!

The wall

The other day you started pounding on the wall in the kitchen and you said.... How did this get here??!! We said ... What, the wall??.... and you said.... yea, I want one of those in my room! You are sooo funny and you crack us up every day. 

I am scared

Lately when it is time for bed you say you are scared... We ask you what you are scared of and you say all the animals!!!


Haha. So we then tell you animals only live in the zoo and that our house is safe...


You just repeat what we say and say. OH!!!!

Make lots of money

So obviously you are with mommy a lot since I stay home with you kids while daddy works... Well you definitely have our roles down... The other day you were playing outside and I could hear you talking to yourself and you were saying


" I have to go to work today... I am going to work on the roof and fix air conditioners!" " I am going to work and make lots of money!" " oh, I need to get my baby... Raegan is going to go take my baby to stroller strides and I am going to go to work and make lots of money!!!" 


Haha. You are hilarious!!!

Sleeping with mommy and daddy

So every night you magically make your way into our room and into our bed right in-between me and your daddy. We act like we are rough and tuff and will make you go back to your bed.... BUT we secretly LOVE that you do that. You are so warm, and cuddly at night and it is innocent and pure joy to have you with us. 


The other night daddy let you go to bed with us at 9pm. We all layed in the bed and just held you. Your daddy said he missed you being at work that day and all he wanted was just to spend time with you even if it was while you were asleep. 


We starred at you while you slept. We talked about how amazed we are that we made you. We could not stop talking about how fast you are growing. And of course we kept saying how deeply in love with you we both were. 


You, my son, are the best gift ever. You are our heart. You are our everything. We are obsessed with you!

Double ask questions

You are so cute. I just can't get enough of how your words and vocabulary are so advanced. You are too funny too because when you don't know the answer to a question you reask me the question...

Ever since Kaylee was born you definitely do what you have to do to get more attention!!! haha..Your latest...


You cry like a baby


You want to sleep in the crib


You want to get in the car seat


You lay on the ground and look up at her mobile and pretend you are a baby


You say goo goo ga ga. 


You want to eat baby food all the time


You want me to hold you like a baby


You cry while saying " I want a bottle!"


And you latest that you ask to do a few times a day... You cry and say " I want mommies belly!" Then you try to lay in the breast feeding position, you ask me to pull up my shirt, "open that" And you make sounds like your are sucking! Its pretty funny!!! Your daddy is going to kill me for typing this!

Come lay with me

You have been wanting to sleep in mommy and daddy's bed lately. Especially while daddy is at work. I secretly love it. You ask me every night to come lay with you. Then you cuddle up to my side. If I move away you cuddle closer to make sure I am there. In your sleep you tell me you love me. It seriously is the sweetest sound I have ever heard. I am not sure what you do to me but I am sooooo lost in you! I am crazy in love with you and it keeps getting worse!!!!! AHHH my son you are my everything!!!

Disneyland

So we just got back from disneyland for our 2nd annual kids vacation!!! We had a blast and you loved it! The first day we went to disneyland and the second day we went to california adventures! You loved the rides and wanted to walk around sooo much. We also had breakfast with the characters each morning and you loved that! You were not afraid at all and hugged and played around with them. You loved that Grandma came with us and were attached to her the entire time. Vacations like these make everything worthwhile. You are sooo fun at this age! I love seeing the world through your eyes. Your innocence is pure beauty! I love you sooooooo much my dear son!

Cupcakes

So this past week has been rough with you... You are going through a little rebel phase and it has been harn on mommy! I dont like yelling and being mad at you because you are such a sweet and good boy! But ... wow.. I had to get mean! You are just being a 3 year old and testing your boundaries and seeing what you can get away with.

After our rough week, I felt like we needed quality time. So, we got Baby K down for a nap and we baked cupcakes! You sat on the counter. I let you do it all. You asked questions and were so interested. I let you eat the batter and a cooked cupcake too! You were sooo happy and so was I. I love just having time with you where we can focus on each other!

That night you could not sleep too well! Daddy was at work. You crawled into bed with me and asked me to hold you! I held you all night long. I listened to you breath and suck your thumb. It was the most beautiful night. I could have stayed up all night just looking at you and listening to you! I am beyond SO in love!

Potty trained funnys

No that you are potty trained you act like you have not worn diapers in years......Its sooo funny!!!


Timmy do you wear diapers....."NO!!! that is what little babies do!"


We were at the park and you were so excited you walked up to complete strangers and told them " I am a big boy now, I don't wear diapers....thats what babies do!"


Baby Andrew was over and Megan layer him on the floor to change his diaper and you walked over..." HUHHHHH!!! You wear diapers?! That is a bad boy! I don't wear diapers!!! I am not a baby!!! I am a big Boy!"

Santa in the sky!

When you see the white line in the sky from the airplanes, you get all excited! You say, " Momma thats santa clause going back to the north pole!" 

Fire trucks

For your 3rd birthday party we hired out a fire truck to come to your party!! We made all the kids come out front and sit and wait for it to drove down the street! Now every time you hear the sirens of a fire truck, you tell me " Oh no! the fire truck is coming to my birthday party! We need to go wait outside for it!" " You have to call my friends to come see the fire truck!"

NYE

I forgot to write that your daddy and I celebrated NYE in Rocky Point with you and your sister. At midnight we were all snuggled up in bed and we were all right were we wanted to be. I looked over at two sleeping babies at midnight and tears of joy and happiness came over me! I LOVE YOU

Happy New Year

As we start 2012 I am so grateful to be your mommy! My goals for you this year....


To continue doing all our fun play dates. 


To start prepping you for some pre- preschool! 


To do homeschool pre school activities a few times a week.


To learn more about God.


To start learning some spanish.


To look at you every day and take it all in because it is going so fast and I never want these days to end!

Our xmas tree is gone

The day after I got all our christmas down you woke up and went in the room and said... mommy what happened to our xmas tree?!


M- Oh, xmas is over!


T- Santa claus too it with him


M- Yea, good thought! He did. 


T- he took it up to the north pole?! Oh, No!


M- We will get another one next year, baby!


T- lets get a big balloon and go get it now!
